Sweet Herts Sisters get crafty for Christmas

Thanks to everyone who came along to our Xmas Crafts session on Thursday and a warm Sweet Herts welcome to all the new Sisters who joined us - it was so nice to meet you all! We had a great time sharing all our crafty materials and bright ideas.





The time just flew by in a flurry of "pass the sequins" and "ooh that's nice, I think I'll copy you!" and before we knew it, it was last orders at the pub and we were furiously glueing and cutting to finish our last pieces before chucking out time! We had a really laid back, fun evening; got to know each other, had a chat and a laugh over a glass of wine and still somehow managed to create a whole load of cards and gift tags between us. Well done Sisters - impressive work!




We were really excited to hear everyone's fab ideas for future events - and will definitely be putting some of them into action in 2010. If you have any suggestions or would like to host a workshop/event, we'd love to hear from you... email us at sweetherts@hotmail.co.uk



So.... watch this space for dates and details of our events for 2010. We've got big plans, starting with a cupcake decorating workshop which I'm super excited about!! (Am I the only person who loves to bake cupcakes and then take photos of them?!) Also in the pipeline for 2010 is a fascinator making workshop with Caroline of Caroline Couture, Harpenden and a trip to the V&A.




Plans for our first charity event to take place in spring 2010 are also underway..... can't confirm any details yet, but it will involve cake, tea and pretty dresses!!! (Three of my favourite things in life!)
